Best in Show Warner Brothers: Follows the antics of dog owners participating in the fictionalized “Mayflower dog show.” Christopher Guest, the man behind Waiting for Guffman, turns his comic eye on another little world that takes itself a bit too seriously: the world of competitive dog shows. Best in Show follows a clutch of dog owners as they prepare and preen their dogs to win a national competition. They include the yuppie pair (Parker Posey and Michael Hitchcock) who fear they’ve traumatized their Weimaraner by having sex in front of him; a suburban husband and wife (Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara) with a terrier and a long history of previous lovers on the wife’s part; the Southern owner of a bloodhound (Guest himself) with aspirations as a ventriloquist; and many more. Following the same “mockumentary” format of Spinal Tap and Guffman, Best in Show takes in some of the dog show officials, the manager of a nearby hotel that allows dogs to stay there, and the commentators of the competition (a particularly knockout comic turn by Fred Willard as an oafish announcer). The movie manages to paint an affectionate portrait of its quirky characters without ever losing sight of the ridiculousness of their obsessive world. Almost all of the scenes were created through improvisation. While lacking the overall focus of a written script, Best in Show captures hilarious and absurd aspects of human behavior that could never be written down. Got this TV with overnight shipping for 3.99 (as a Prime Member). Very easy setup. The TV is really light, razor thin, and has allot of great features. The picture and color is great on this set and the USB port is excellent for playing MKV files off a external hard drive. Very very happy with my purchase!
UPDATE: I ended up returning this TV as I couldnt get the colors right even after calibration, just wasnt the TV for me. Went with the LG 32LD550 LCD TV and all is well now.

Hallo,
habe mir letzte Woche Samsung LE-22C450E1W gekauf. Gründe für diese Kaufentscheidung waren elegantes schlankes Design ohne hässlichen Klavierlack, zwei eingebauten Tuner DVB-T und DVB-C und ein unschlagbares Preis von 229 Euro. Angeschlossen hab ich diesen Fernseher mit einem Kabel-Anschluß und die Sendern mittels automatischer Suche abgespeichert.
Alle 26 mögliche terestrische Kanäle wurden immer wieder automatisch gefunden und NUR 6 digitalen Sendern. Kabelanschluß ist in Ordnung, mit diesem hat mein 3 jahre alter SONY 236 Kanäle ebenfalls mit DVB-C Tüner gefunden. Alle Möglichkeiten auch manuelle Suchlauf hab ich ausprobiert, leider mehr als 6 digitale Kanäle wurden nicht gefunden.
Ich habe zwei Tagen im Internet rescherschiert und auch Samsung-Kundendienst angeschrieben. Samsung hat sich natürlich keine Mühe gemacht, mir zu antworten. Ein ähnliches Fall hab ich im Internet gefunden, da schreibt einer: “Es liegt am Samsung. Der suchte nicht alle Frequenzen ab im digitalen Bereich, sondern nur den Anfang (113 mHz). Nun hab ich von Kabelanbieter die komplette Frequenz-Liste von digitalen Programmen bekommen und sie manuell eingepflegt”.
Sorry, aber manuelles Suchen von Digital-Programmen nicht für mich. Samsung-Support ist auch nicht das beste. Deshalb hab ich diesen LCD LE-22C450 enttäuscht zurück gegeben. Für das gutes Bild und Design bekommt diesen Fernseher Plus-Punkte, DVB-C Tuner und fast 30cm große Fernbedienung in XXL Format verdienen säftige Minuspunkte. Auch die Montage von Standfuß ist auch nicht so gut gelungen: drei Montage-Schreiben gingen nur mit Gewalt rein. Sony z.B. löst dieses Problem viel intelligenter und DVB-C Tuner beherschen die automatische Suche von Programmen viel besser.
