Creature – Die dunkle Macht der Finsternis 20 Jahre altes VHS Band meets DVD – sci-fi –
Vorab, der Film “Creature” ist ein nicht zu verachtender “Alien” – Abklatsch, mit einer spannenden & düsteren Atmosphere. Die Story spielt auf dem Saturnmond Titan. In einer Nebenrolle ist Klaus Kinski als böser Deutsche zu bewundern.
Bei dieser DVD Veröffentlichung handelt es sich um die allseits bekannte, gekürzte 18er Fassung – Laufzeit: 88:35 Minuten incl. Abspann!
Die DVD aber spottet jeglicher Beschreibung und ist das schlechteste, was mir je zu Augen gekommen ist! Das Bild ist verrauscht und von einem mindestens 20 Jahre altem Videodband (LEIDER KEIN SCHERZ) – sofort am Anfang sieht man entsprechende Bildstörungen – der untere Bildrandrand ist grisselig . Keine Schärfe – das Bild wirkt in schwazen Passagen nur hellgrau & milchig. Das Bildformat ist eine Katastrophe (aufgezoomt). Das Menü besteht aus einem Standfoto mit der Auswahl: Kapitelauswahl, Film abspielen. Extras sind nicht vorhanden, auch kein Originalton. Es ist eine Frechheit, so etwas auf den Markt zu bringen! Schade, denn ich hatte mich schon lange auf eine gute DVD-Veröffentlichung gewartet – doch diese hier entspricht noch nicht einmal ansatzweise einer akzeptablen Qualität.
