PLX Devices 2340 KIWI Wifi Had to get fixed within first week – Alexandre Polozoff – Bloomington, IL
The unit would not turn on one day about a week after the purchase. PLX fixed it but it took another 10 days before I got it back. Haven’t had a problem with it since. 3-stars for having a problem with a brand new, out of the box product.
Completely unrelated to this device is the software out there. Yes, there are apps for iPHone but they lack in one way or another. Fuzzycar keeps the recorded data on their web site and you can’t get a full download of all the data. Rev doesn’t capture more than a few metrics when it records. Rev also has no visibility to some metrics like accelerator pedal position (though they have throttle position). Haven’t seen any software out on the Android yet. There are plenty of youtube videos out there of the various software options but none meet my specific data recording metric need, unfortunately.
