Bliss Phenominal Movie About The Sexual Objectification Of Women – M. R. Reagan – New England
“Bliss” is the first and the ONLY movie I have ever seen which deals so honestly and so explicitly with the way male objectivication of women as sexual objects just completely and totally, shall we say, spoils all the fun for both sexes. This is the story, or case, if you will, of a young woman who has been completely and systematically abused by her father and then manages to find a husband (what a surprise)who also sees her as really just a sex object. Both men profess love for her, but each man just really uses her for sexual gratification. This film pulls none of its punches in dealing with this difficult subject and manages to integrate many, many ideas (from different psychosexual, spiritual and religious belief systems)into a wonderful philosophical and therapeutic whole…that works! At least it works in the context of the film’s story told through these fictional characters. The genius of this film is that it both tells you (gives the viewer enough verbal explanation of theory and belief systems) and SHOWS how and why these people behave as they do in a very organic, plot-driven way.

“Bliss” is not for everyone. It’s not for those not sophicated enough to understand it’s content, nor for those just looking for some kind of cheap thrill. You will love “Bliss” if you love TRULY (not those hollow, exploitative XXX pieces of crap)adult movies about “real” people, real pain and real sexual/imtimacy issues. It is a movie about the healing power of love. Can you handle that?

This curious drama fits into the too-familiar form of the “therapy movie,” but it’s acted with intensity by a committed (and rather brave) trio. Craig Sheffer plays an uptight Seattle husband who discovers his neurotic wife (Sheryl Lee) visiting a radical doctor (Terence Stamp) who has sex–therapeutically–with his patients. After briefly flipping out, Sheffer finds himself buying into the doctor’s remedies for a sexual and emotional make-over. The silky-smooth Stamp is perfectly cast: with his enthusiasm for chakras and fine cigars, the doctor is both spiritual guru and the kind of man who reads Playboy. The film veers into ridiculousness at times, yet there is something intriguing about its how-to frankness. Home viewers may find themselves embarrassed and maybe just a little bit liberated. –Robert Horton

I’m not going to lie here… After strapping on this, my first Invicta watch, I am hooked. This thing is beast, and definately all man. After reading the many reviews remarking about its size (Yeah, it REALLY is that big!), I was afraid it almost be clownish. Like Flava Flav was working on carving out a new “wrist-clock” market, or something. This watch is definately is not that.

Well made, great styling, and has kept perfect time (to the second) since setting it a week ago. Glad I’ve got two wrists, because you better believe I’m going to get another one, or ten, in the near future.

I don’t normally comment on stuff I buy from Amazon even though I read the comments on everything before I purchase, but could not resist this one. I am 6’3″ and X Large, I have a collection of watches Invicta being one of my favourite brands but this is by far the nicest. When I opened the box and saw the size I said yeah this is what I am talking about Large(oversized) must mean Large. This is not for a slim guy it will stand out way too much. Absolutely Beautiful. Bought the one with blue face and now trying to decide which other colour, may be the yellow or both yellow and red to complete collection.

Bliss – Im Augenblick der Lust Grossartiger Film – L. Dietmar –
Nun wer einfach einen erotischen Film anschauen möchte ist hier sicher an der falschen Adresse. Auch wer auf der Suche nach einer heiteren Liebeskomödie ist sucht hier vergebens.

Aber dies ist wohl einer der besten Hollywood Filme den ich je gesehen habe. Einfach weil er sich offen und ehrlich mit einem sehr heiklen Thema auseinandersetzt. Und weil er sich einem Thema öffnet dass in Amerika höchst umstritten ist. Und zwar der Heilung über den Körper mit sexueller Energie. Und der Film klärt auch über einige der grossen Missverständnisse in unserer Welt bezüglich Sex auf. Z.B. dass Ejakulation und Orgasmus beim Mann nicht grundsätzlich zusammengehören. Dass es beim Sex um mehr gehen kann als um schlichte Triebbefriedigung. Dass es höhre Stufen von Ekstase und Lust gibt.

Ein gelungener Einstieg für Leute welche sich mit dem Thema Tantra und Taoismus auseinandersetzen wollen. Obwohl die beiden Wörter nie im Film angesprochen werden…

Muß man wirklich nicht gesehen haben. – –
Vielleicht mag der Film künstlerisch wertvoll sein. Eins ist er auf jeden Fall nicht – erotisch. Und auch nicht spannend, es gibt keine umwerfenden Schauspieler und keine beeindruckenden Bilder und auch sonst nichts ausser Tristesse und emotionslosem BlaBla. Nachdem ich den Film gesehen hatte habe ich mich einfach nur gefragt: Wen interessiert das?
Sony: Joseph und Maria sind ein frisch verheiratetes Ehepaar. Ihre Liebe freinander kennt keine Grenzen. Doch bei einer ihrer Sitzungen mit dem Ehepsychiater Alfred macht Maria ein schockierendes Gestndnis Sie ist sexuell unbefriedigt, ihre ekstatischen Orgasmen sind nur vorgespielt! Joseph ist am Boden zerstrt. Auerdem muss er erfahren, dass Maria heimlich den umstrittenen Sex-Therapeuten Baltazar aufsucht, dessen Praxis einem arabischen Harem gleicht.
