Onkyo TX-NR906 7.1 Channel Home Theater Receiver (Black)
Onkyo TX-NR906 7.1 Channel Home Theater Receiver (Black) EXCELLENT !! – S. SABO – Ballico, CA
First off, I’m not a tech freak but I do consider myself above average.. I have had Blu-ray Players since the beginning of them.. I have a Sony BDP-S1 & a Sharp HP-20u.. This 906 was easier to set up than I thought it was going to be.. Hooked up my Sony Blu-Ray but couldn’t get HD sound.. Called Onkyo they were great he tried to change the settings on the Sony but it still wouldn’t get HD sound.. Long story short he said some earlier Models of Blu-Ray players wouldn’t put out HD sound without going back the the MFG. like Sony to get them to change the settings.. I didn’t want to go through that hassle.. So I did some research on Amazon and found the new Onkyo DV-BD507 Blu-Ray player.. According to Onkyo the two were a seamless connection.. That was a unstatement I hooked up the BD507 Blu-Ray player and WOW all I had to do was to make a few setting changes and I was totally amazed at the HD sound and picture which was beyond EXCELLENT and the up scaling to 1080P excellent.. I hooked this up to my Sharp LC-46D-64U
Thanks Amazon for the great price on the Onkyo receiver & Onkyo Blu-Ray player and Onkyo tech Support

Great Receiver / Home network – M. Widner – IOWA
I was a bit overwhelmed at first but after a couple of hours setting everything up and getting it tuned in….This baby rocks! Completely satisfied. It is heavy as crap but it ain’t crap. I replaced my bose life style with this and jbl speakers. Very tight combination. Looks great. Price is a bit steep but in this case, you get what you pay for and that is about everything. Unless we go to some new age alien technology, I think this unit will last me a very very long time. Get it and you will see…don’t and you won’t.

Tahitian Noni Review Business Opportunity

Image : http://www.flickr.com
Tahitian Noni is a fruit form a native tree of Tahiti and the Pacific Islands. It is what is known as a super food and has always been used as such on those islands. Many other people have begun to find out about how beneficial this fruits is around the world. There is also a marketing program through an MLM company that sells the juice. This is a Tahitian Noni Review.
Research will need to be done on any type of opportunity like this one. The product should be researched as well. Knowledge should be gained about the business and the product to make sure they are good. This will also help if one decides to make a go of this kind of thing. No company like this should make outlandish claims about instant wealth. Good MLM companies have good products and good strategies to help new recruits begin to learn how to recruit and make money.
The Tahitian Noni business opportunity means that the products should be sold and the opportunity should be also. The Fast Start Bonus Program is one that gets 20% commission for 60 days when new recruits sign up more recruits. Then it changes to only 1%. After this, the downline under the first recruits will earn the upline 5% commissions. Training and guidance should be provided for the new recruits. This will help them make money so that the initial upline can do so too.
Those customers that buy the product will be likely to buy it if there is knowledge presented about what the product does well. When it works, they will buy again. They will be regular customers who can be counted on.
The upline is who it is good to listen to when it comes to the best way to get new recruits, do marketing, and what tools can be used. Teaching these same things to the downline will mean that they know what to do to make money. They will stick around which means more commissions for all and some that can hopefully become residual income. Good training all around is necessary to insure good results for everyone.
Tahitian Noni is a good, healthy product and the MLM marketing business can be a good thing as well. Good income can be obtained if the time and effort are put in. This will mean a good website, phone calls, training, research, and other tools and practices to make it successful.
Practicing all of these things, listening to those who have gone before, and continuing them will mean that money can be made. If it really is done right, then residual income can result also.
I created this Tahitian Noni Review so you can truly learn how to prosper in this business. Before you dive into months of failing, you need to learn the marketing skills that will get you results. Check out this video now MLM Training.

Onkyo TX-NR1008 9.2-Channel Network Home Theater Receiver
Onkyo TX-NR1008 9.2-Channel Network Home Theater Receiver best home receiver to me – cram –
straight to the point. My beloved kenwood receiver of 10 years got too old and couldn’t keep up. I kept the kenwood speakers and I thought they wouldn’t be able to sound as good but they came a live. the onkyo sounds great, the setup was a breeze. The on scrren display made it even easier. My setup is with 5 speakers and I had to buy a powered sub klipch. I also used the one of the zones for the backyard rockspeaker which sounds incrdible. When I’m outside I play the internet radio and make watering and cutong grass a fun job. Love that I had all this hdmi inputs. The remote controls everything I have coneccted except for the game console. I really don’t have any negative things to say. It was well worth the price. Let’s just say eveything I wanted to do it does for me. Hope this help you make your mind about buying it.

Onkyo TX-SR608 7.2-Channel Home Theater Receiver (Black)
Onkyo TX-SR608 7.2-Channel Home Theater Receiver (Black) Home Theater Receiver – C. G. Cisneros –
Fantastic receiver and a great value. Two zones, can do 3D (although I am not sure what that would sound like), … I have multiple sources, dvd, 360, radio, Sat., computer, apple TV, two flat screens all connected to it and control it all from this unit. Too many positives to list, but it requires some thought to learn the logic of how to control it all unless you this is what you do for a living. The more the device can do the more you have to pay attention to what the buttons that are being pushed. A little time, patience and thought can go a long way.
Wanted to Love it, But it failed TWICE from TWO different sources! – BOTH RULE – New York, NY
First let me say, I’ve had Onkyo products before, and I’ve always felt their products have been reliable, so when I became ready for a new Mid-range receiver around the 0-0 price range, I started my research with ONKYO. I checked out offereings from Pioneer, Yamaha, Denon, Samsung and wound up after all the info I gathered looking at ONYKO TX-SR608 VS Denon AVR-1611.
In terms of features they both were HDMI 1.4a 3D Ready receivers, had Audyssey Speaker correction setups, had optional ipod docks and were both under 0 (about 9 street). The Onkyo TX-SR608 (which I will now refer to as simply 608), appeared to have the Denon AVR-1611 (now referred to as 1611) beat with its 6 HDMI ports versus 4, higher Watts per channel 100 versus 75, and THX Certification to boot. All of the reviews I read were mostly positive for both models, but their seemed to be a lot of reviews for the 608, so I took this as a sign that more people were taking the plunge with the 608.
Through my research, I found the negtives on the 1611 to be more with its poor manual and ultra senstive remote. Also the GUI was functional but not aestically pretty, no complaints on Sound or picture though. The negatives I read on the 608, were that the built in upconversion feature actually made the picture look worse (which I eventually found out to be true) and should be disabled. I also read in some instances that the receiver would shut itself off at high volumes. This did not deter me from deciding to go with the 608 because I felt the value you were getting in all of the features, made it worth giving it a shot. So, I went ahead and ordered the 608 here via AMAZON.
Setup, was not difficult, except for the fact the receiver wasn’t working properly. Video seemed to look worse than when I had the hdmi’s directly through the TV, so I disabled the upconversion feature, and the picture was noticiably better. When attempting to test it out, I had first set it at a lower volume (52) than its recommended THX reference volume of 82. The sound sounded crisp, but I intially wasn’t getting any Video. This was puzzling to me as I was under the understanding that you either get picture and sound or not thorough HDMI, you can’t have only one. I switched cables 4 times but still had same result. I switch ports and was able to get video and sound for a few minutes but the receiver would then shut itself off abruptly. This is not good.
I did read a few reviews that said this had happen to others, but when you read 120 reviews and only 4 people had an issue, I thought it could have been isolated cases. After trying everything I could, I came to the conclusion that I had to return it becuase it was faulty. The shipping box appeared a bit dinged up, so maybe UPS was to blame? I was really dead set on this receiver so I sent back to AMAZON and proceeded to check it out at another Brick and Mortar store. I was able to get a price match for it at 5th Ave, and the box I received was in pristine condition. This was a good sign.
Setup again was a breeze, and the speaker setup feature went flawlessly. I was very pleased to see all of the hdmi ports working and I was all set to test out the sounds with my reference Blurays on hand. While attempting to play the opening sequences of TOP GUN, SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, IRON MAN 2, or STAR TREK via my PS3 slim, the reciever would again then shut itself off. I had taken a painstakely slow and careful time with my setup, and it is really unacceptable for a receiver to just shut itself off whenever a quick sound appears. Flybys on TOP GUN would trigger the shutoff. IRON MAN 2 title screen triggered it too. Could not get past first 2 mins of PREDATORS or STAR TREK. I then increased the volume to 82 to see if maybe 59 and 65 were too low, but the same results. Hey if I can’t keep the receiver “ON” it doesn’t matter what features it has. This presumably great buy had turned sour on me rather quickly. I kept it for a week to continue to test it out trying other cables, and other ports and other settings, but the same results. I can’t enjoy movies if your receiver shuts down constantly, so what’s the point?
So, now this is a second 608 from a different store with basically the same type of faulty issues. So, today the 608 goes back to the store and I’m going to try the DENON AVR-1611, because the 1611 is the next closest in terms of feature set and value. I will review 1611 once I get it setup, as I hear it is not as easy to do versus the 608, but I’m not going to waste my time on another 608.
Since the receiver didn’t work on two separate occasions I really should have given it a 1 star rating, but the sound quality was excellent when it worked and I suppose perhaps there has to be some good ones out there so I gave it the extra star because of that, but really if I can’t play the darn thing it really should have no stars.
Onkyo: TX-SR608 Sure, we call it an “entry-level” A/V receiver. But when you witness the full potential of the TX-SR608, you’ll know the level you’re entering is far beyond the ordinary. For a start, you get six of the latest HDMI 1.4 inputs for simple hook-up of all your high-def sources. HDMI 1.4 also brings compatibility with the new 3D video format, as well as an Audio Return Channel from your display back to the receiver. Complementing HDMI on the input front, you have an analog RGB video input for connecting your PC, and a Universal Port for Onkyo peripherals. All video sources, regardless of resolution, can be upscaled to big and beautiful 1080p via HDMI and Faroudja DCDi Cinema. Audio processing incorporates quality Burr-Brown DACs, lossless Dolby and DTS codecs, and the expanded surround formats of Audyssey DSX and Dolby Pro Logic IIz. Three-stage inverted Darlington circuitry and jitter cleaning technology work to ensure extremely precise and faithful amplification. In recognition of the TX-SR608′s outstanding A/V prowess, it has been awarded THX Select2 Plus Certification. Onkyo TX-SR608 7.2-Channel Home Theater Receiver (Black)
