Bewundere das Design noch nach Monaten – Jakarta_expat – Indonesien
Es ist schwierig ein Apple Produkt zu rezensieren – man schämt sich ja fast ein uneingeschraenktes Lob auszusprechen ohne des Apple Life-Style Hypes verdaechtigt zu werden. Dennoch: Das MacBook Air ist super-funktional, leicht, und besitzt alles was ich brauche.

Der groesste Nachteil ist bekannt: lediglich ein USB Port. Immerhin – das weiss man vorher. Auch die Batterielaufzeit koennte mit circa 3h etwas besser sein. Alles andere ist beeindruckend: Das SSD Laufwerk ist schnell und das Geraet entwickelt wirklich keinerlei Geraeusch. Zusaetzlich zu “normalen” Aufgaben wie surfen und Office Anwendungen codiere ich Audiofiles etc, und hatte niemals ein Problem mit der Geschwindigkeit. Das MB Air ist nur unbedeutend langsamer als mein 17″ MacBook Pro von Ende 2007. Und dafuer absolut mobil.Der Umstieg vom Buero Laptop (Windows) zu Mac OSX machte keine Probleme, und mit Snow Leopard kann ich uneingeschraenkt mit Apple Mail auf MS Exchange zurueckgreifen.

Ich bereue die Investition nicht, und wuerde jederzeit wieder ein Air kaufen.

This Ibook is not the most powerful machine but it operates so well. Not good for video game or watch internet tv but for surfing the internet or using itune, watch video stuff will be great. Also when you use apple laptop you never gets virus (that’s my opinion but most people who use apple would agree with me)which great to have peace of mind. Solid machine and I love it!
Those who’ve considered Apple’s amazing new PowerBook G4 series of portable computers but can’t quite justify the expense would do well to explore its less expensive, slightly less capable sibling, the iBook G4. Available in three flavors, the iBook G4 doesn’t sport PowerBook amenities such as DVD burning and massive widescreen displays, yet all three models feature superb connectivity, subcompact dimensions, and impressive battery life. This particular unit, the entry-level iBook G4 12-inch M9164LL/A, is the most affordable mobile computer in the entire Apple roster.

Featuring a spry power section consisting of an 800 MHz PowerPC G4 processor and 256 MB RAM (expandable to 640 MB), the system packs enough raw muscle for most typical mobile computing tasks. However, the real surprise comes in its 3-D rendering capabilities. Unlike many comparably equipped notebooks, the iBook G4 12-inch features an ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 video chipset with 32 MB of dedicated DDR SDRAM memory.
