This mid-sized non-stick skillet can handle eggs for two or three, a quick veggie sautee or pair of chicken breasts. The sloped sides facilitate flipping and tossing, as does the commercial quality non-stick interior.

Nice pan, but the coating has started coming off – M. Steve Bean –
I purchased one of these Vollrath frying pans at a local retail store. The pan did fine for a while, but then the non-stick coating began coming off the center part of the pan. We only used plastic and wooden utensils with this pan, so it is not our fault the coating is coming off. Vollrath only warrants their pans for 90 days, so I am just out of luck. I wish I had bought a pan from Walmart rather than this one. I hope you have better luck than I did with this rather pricy piece of cookware.

Canon EF 24mm f/1.4 L USM II Wide Angle Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras Soft at low F numbers – Mr. E. J. Allen – Edmonton Alberta
I bought this lens new a few months ago as a compliment to my F2.8 24-70mm, specifically for lower light stuff (concerts, indoors etc) and although it is robust, will focus fast and quietly, over time I noticed how soft it was compared to the 24-70. So to try and convince myself it was just me I ran a series of like for like tests of the two lens and sure enough (starting at 2.8 obviously!) it is quite a bit softer and the colors are not as accurate either.

When you get down to F1.4 and shoot over any distance (say you were shooting a concert in the early evening and didn’t want to use flash) it REALLY soft, (so much so I though the autofocus was not working!)

I love buying the best glass I can and stick with Canon for consistency, but this has been a real dissapointment compared to the versatility of the 24-70. for circa 50, its a BIG price for something with a large number of quality trade-offs!
