A real crap weld at the bottom of the chair where a plate is welded to a collar that is friction fitted to the bottom base.
Weld broke lose and I fell out of the chair. Broke my leg in the process. I will be suing this manufacturer and the distributor over this.

I bought this to go in a FROG (Finished Room Over Garage), aka a Man-Cave.
The chair is narrow and very low to the floor, so it is ideal for a cramped room with a low ceiling. Assembly was straightforward and all the parts fit together easily. It is surprisingly well-made. The frame is solid and the hardware is sturdy. It does swivel (although you wouldn’t guess it from the photo). It does recline (sorta). It is reasonably comfortable; however, in my opinion it would benefit from more/better padding.
