A book to share with others – David Orenstein – New York City Area
I have read this book several times and I am amazed how neither the text or the power of Bridge’s insights lose their meaning. In fact, I have purchased multiple copies of the book and keep them handy to give to friends who are going through difficult times in their lives.

I find comfort in the deeper meaning of the work. How transitions sometimes occur with or without our knowledge or consent. How something inside us (perceptions, ideas, values) or outside (job or person loss) must come to an end in some small or major triggering event in order for transition to occur and move us to another emotional or physical place.

If I had to be on a deserted island, this would be one of the books I’d want with me. It gives me hope.

You could quite easily pay $3000 to $5000 for Smooth treadmills but they are very well priced at between $999 and $2999. There is a treadmill for every budget.

In the low-priced end of the range the Smooth 5.15 treadmill is excellent value for money. This includes a 10 year motor warranty. If you can’t afford this treadmill I highly recommend saving a bit more until you can. As I’ve said in other articles just you can’t expect to pay $500 for a treadmill and get a high quality, durable machine!

Very few. They do charge extra for inside delivery and setup but at least they offer this service unlike some other companies.

Recommendation

In conclusion, I highly recommend Smooth treadmills. Apart from the extra cost for indoor delivery and set up, Smooth treadmills could probably be one of the “best buy” treadmills on the internet. A true diamond in the rough!

The 2008 Kawasaki ZX-10, also called the Ninja ZX-10R, is all about performance, on the streets, or tearing up the track. The 2008 Ninja ZX-10R was born on the track, and the results were painstakingly transferred to the street-legal version, in this all-around fantastic version of a 1000CC sportbike! Not a lot of motorcycles can be taken on day one of ownership and deliver this amount of pure excitement, but the ZX-10R truly does!

Kawasaki, and their engineers, have employed a liquid cooled, 998CC, Dual Overhead Camshaft engine, with four valves per cylinder, that pushes out 83.2 foot-pounds of torque at 8,700 rpm. Weight was dropped from the engine by cutting channels in the crankcase, eliminating oil lines, and also adding a lighter crankshaft. Kawasaki added new secondary fuel injectors that helped to add top-end performance, along with reshaping the intake and exhaust ports. Kawasaki has always been a leader in ram-air induction, and this model has an even better system now due to re-shaping the velocity stacks and intake duct, which improves the flow of the air to the engine.

The dual front brakes have semi-floating 310mm discs, with dual four-piston radial mounted calipers. The rear brakes have a single 220mm disc with a single-piston aluminum caliper. The chassis is a twin-spar frame that has been re-designed to make it stronger around the swingarm pivot, and the swingarm has been re-designed with a top-mounted stabilizer to improve stability at high speeds.

The idea of having your very own fitness room is for most people a dream come true. Especially with those who regularly work out at public gyms, the hassles that come with waiting in line for a machine to free up, and then being constrained by the time limit, are simply concerns that could be done without.

A home gym would need as much space as possible in order to adhere to the above requirements.

Also, one might want to break down the actual space needed for each piece of exercise equipment:

? Elliptical bikes would need 10 feet.

? For the stair climbers, one would need 10-20 square feet.

? Free weights would need somewhere between 20-50 square feet.

? Rowing machines need 20 square feet.

? For the single-station gyms, one would need about 35 square feet.

? Multi-station gyms would require somewhere from 50 to 200 square feet.

Aside from these, one must also remember to have enough room for you to move freely, without any constrictions or safety hazards.

If space proves to be a problem, one might consider downsizing: opt for the collapsible gym equipment. This solution, however, does not answer for the actual space needed when all the equipment is brought out.

Also, one could consider purchasing a range of compact gym equipment that is now available in the market. Mini exercise bikes and thigh masters are great for space saving, and they definitely cost less than the usual bulky equipment,

But above all else, remember that the space you use for your gym must adhere to the kind of activity you will be doing. The most important thing is for the gym to work for you, and if some adjustments must be made for the sake of a home gym you can be comfortable in, then by all means, make them.
