I love this workout. I get bored very easily and this is a workout I look forward to doing and don’t dread. Richard and Kelly are upbeat, encouraging and motivating instructors. I love that I have been able to advance at my own pace with this DVD. I am up to Intermediate at this point and can’t wait to go to Advanced. The background music is a little corny but I can deal. I feel all of my muscles tightening, lengthening and firming up. I think it’s brilliant how they have combined Cardio and Toning dynamics into one session. By the end of the entire routine I am DRENCHED in sweat, my heart rate is up there and I feel that I have worked all of my trouble spots effectively. I am doing the video at least 4x a week and eating a healthy diet to supplement it. I can already feel in my clothes I am losing inches! YAYYY! Also I don’t use the barre they use in the videos…I just use a high backed dining chair. What’s great about this program is you can do it if you travel! On vacation or in a hotel…you just need light hand weights and a chair! EASY!

Pure Barre: Pershing Square 1
Enjoying this DVD! – E. Freeman – Dallas, Texas
Going on week 3 of this Pure Barre workout DVD and look forward to every workout. It does a great job of delivering challenging unique exercises, mostly for the lower body (I’ve never seen my legs shake so much)and core area. It’s does a good job of keeping you engaged and interested by changing up the exercises slightly while still targeting the same area.
As a fitness instructor, I have tried many diffent workouts in a gym environment as well as at home workouts (P90X, etc) and I must say, Pure Barre has become my new favorite! I am already seeing and feeling results after two weeks of buying this DVD. Highly recommend!

Pure Barre: Pershing Square 2

I have been doing the original Pure Barre video for about 6 months, about 2 times a week. I originally alternated it with weight work, sometimes at a gym, but due to money and time constraints switched totally to at home workouts. About 3 months into this I began to see noticeable results in the shape of my thighs and glutes. At that point I dropped the weights totally after injuring my arm and increased Pure Barre to 3 times a week. For the first time in my life I began to see muscle definition in my abdomen too. I have been rotating between the three dvds since getting Pershing Sq 1 & 2 at the beginning of August and am seeing continued toning in every muscle group, upper arms included. I am in my 50′s and getting these amazing results.
I don’t have alot of time to exercise and these are under 50 minutes. Due to my home schedule I am seldom able to do even that length of program in one session, but split it up into sections, finishing one complete muscle group at at time. These two new dvds make that very easy to do.

I do a lot of workouts and was interested in seeing what Core Fusion would bring to the table…Well, in this dvd you get 5 10 minute work-outs which gives you the freedom to do one long work-out that works several muscle groups, or just pick which body part you would like to work on. This is nice when time is limited. Now, 10 minutes does not sound like a lot, and according to the clock it isn’t a lot of time, but when you are working on holding core poses for this long, or working your arms or glutes, 10 minutes seems like a loooooong time. What I like about this dvd is it features very easy to follow exercises that are very concentrated and effective. If you have done ballet or other dance you recognize the plies done in the leg toning and you will recognize some pilates moves in the ab section. You get in, you work the muscle, stretch it out and you are on to the next series. The music in the background is not distracting and the instructors are good, showing you variations where applicable. The set is relaxing and softly lit.
The total run time of the dvd is 50 minutes and is comprised of the following:
Arms
Legs
Glutes
Abs
Stretch
I did them all and felt like I got a nice all over toning workout. For the arm section, you will need weights (I used 3 lb.) I would say for this section 2-5 lbs. would be fine.
You may also want a yoga mat for the floor poses if your floor is not carpeted. Other than that you will be using your own body’s resistance to work the poses.
I would definitely look into more in this series. Good, effective toning/sculpting exercises in a well put together routine with two excellent instructors.

OMG! This is the first Jari Love dvd I’ve ever bought. I workout on a regular basis, thought to be in pretty good shape, thanks to Taebo, Turbo Jam, and Jackie Warner. This doesn’t even compare if u do the whole workout at once. Be ready to push your self to the limit and sweat more than any other cardio workout. Weights, cardio, and step.Awesome, but hard.

Love This DVD – V. Talbot –
I own about 50 exercise DVDs and this one is definitely one of my faves. It has one 30 minute workout focused on upper body & abs and the other focused on lower body and abs. The best workout I’ve ever gotten in 30 minutes flat and I definitely saw results in 10 days just like it promised.
Plus the instructor is informative and not at all irritating. =)
