I purchased this product after taking an organic gardening course. If I could talk to insects, I would try to garner a peace agreement … to coexist without interference. Since I can’t do that, I’ve decided to judiciously use environmentally friendly methods of pest control. This product was mentioned during the course and I hope that it will work. So far, it seems to be doing well. I also tried beer traps (beer in tuna cans) and those worked surprisingly well. So, I would recommend this product and if you use beer traps, too, your slug problems will decrease significantly.The only snail slug control product not based on metaldehyde. Slugs are a pain in the ass! – Alvie J. Anton – Wisconsin
In 2008 I lost my cabbage and tomatoes to slugs! In 2009 I bought Sloggo from Amazon for organic gardens. What a change in my outlook! I still had few slugs in my cabbage, but no damage!!! It’s a great product and very effective. I recommend using Sluggo with Spinosad. I will use this product in 2010, it should be a real killer. Good luck to all of you in the garden!

There is nothing grosser than a slimy slug ! This was the easiest to use and worked like a charm. It doesn’t take much to get the job done.

After reading these great reviews, I had high hopes. The Amazon community is usually pretty accurate. However, I have not had that great of results – yes, Sluggo worked – to some extent – BUT it required repeated applications – and the slugs still got through and did their damage after a while….
I am thinking about trying copper but I know that has its limitations as well….
