Komodo vs. Cobra

Komodo vs. Cobra does absolutely nothing even remotely good. The acting is downright pathetically bad, and the actual special effects involving the Komodo and the Cobra are completely out of place and disturbing to watch as a result.

Whenever you see a violent scene involving the Komodo or the Cobra killing someone, you can very obviously see it’s not really happening. Nothing was done to make it look realistic. It’s *that* cheesy of a movie.

It’s hard to imagine the writers actually thought anything taking place throughout the movie is worth the time of day. Everything about it is just really painful to watch.

On second thought, perhaps I’m completely wrong about this film. Perhaps it’s an obvious attempt at making fun of two huge popular creatures, such as what other movies were attempting at the time. So perhaps this is *supposed* to be a humorous storyline.

This would definitely make better sense than to actually believe Komodo vs. Cobra is supposed to be an implementation of frighteningly realistic creatures coming out of the water and killing people. If THIS is true, well my goodness… *goes completely silent*

Komodo is a Low Budget Horror Movie that Seems Relativly High Budget – POD JAWS –
Komodo is another Childhood Memmory of mine (Along with Carnosaur) and i frigging love it

Plot- when a teenager’s parents are killed by a komodo he is in a state of mental shock, but now a therapist is brinning him back (unaware of the danger) to help him cope with his problems, but now they (and a couple of hunters and a boat driver that brought them back there) are running for there lives against a vicious pack of Komodos!

Acting- very good acting

Gore- actually there is some decent gore, a stick to a komodo’s eye, a komodo’s head bashed with a rock until squished, some ripped throats, and blood

Bottom Line- 4 out of 5

Rated PG-13 for monster violence, and language, Time 90min, 1999, Color
