I was born in 1942. The first phone that I ever used was identical to this Crosley except without the rotary dial. I would pick up the receiver and ask the operator, by speaking into the mouth piece, to connect me to a phone number. This Candlestick phone is a “blast from the past” but with call-waiting and redial. It requires no electricity so that when our electricity is out for awhile due to a rain storm for example or the cell phone’s battery is dead, the Crosley still works because it’s a land line. What a great conversation-piece!

Crosley CR93 Sultan Phone

This phone looks great, perfect size & exactly the image I wanted for our dining room telephone nook. Unfortunately I didn’t see the reviews (here & elsewhere) before I ordered it online. It’s been 3 months now & it no longer rings for incoming calls. Also, it has never worked to call out from the house. You can answer an incoming call fine (if you know there is one from the other house phones ringing…) but when you try to dial out it only dials the first number and then quits. Doesn’t matter if I use tone or pulse dialing and I’ve tried it in 4 different phone jacks now (one of them not even at my house). It is definitely the phone, not my wiring. Disappointing, don’t waste your money.

Crosley Corsair CD Player/Radio – Blue (CR612-BL)

I ordered the Crosley Corsair radio from Amazon and it was sent to me by Beach Camera. It arrived and did not work when I plugged it in. Not a sound. I called Beach Camera, who told me they would replace it. They sent me a free shipping label and I returned it to them by fed ex. I didn’t hear from them for a long time. When I finally called them to find out where my replacement was, they told me it was no longer in stock. Since the charge was on my visa, I told them to refund my visa account and that I would get another radio from someone else. I still have not received my Visa credit. I purchased a crosley solo radio from the local Target store and am very happy with it. This was a particularly unsatisfactory Amazon experience.
