It is no wonder why many people starting out in MLM come from financial need. It is also then no wonder why many network marketers have low financial funds to use in their newfound MLM business. In a business where most struggle to succeed, it is a requirement to do valid research in finding methods to make your business thrive even underneath the pressure of a tight budget.

These five methods will aid you in creating an MLM that is successful even if on a shoestring budget.

Ad Co-Op

Once you make the commitment and make that commitment apparent to your Upline, you can suggest doing an Ad Co-Op; this can be a very powerful tool, especially if your upline are experienced in ads and understand how to make their money work.

Suddenly a $100 ad in the paper is only $20 when split among five distributors. Done right the ad could make you well enough leads to make back the money spent, or even make more than what you spent (Which is what every needs to strive to do. Sounds common sense, but an ad is often made without any prior thought to whether or not it is a good ad).

Split-Testing (EVERYTHING)

The idea of split-testing needs to become very familiar to you as a network marketer. Split-testing is a marketing concept of putting out two almost identical ads approaching from the same angle, with one small difference between the two.

This difference allows you to understand your market better. Which words trigger action, and allows you to constantly refine your advertisements and marketing. Everyone who is searching for a diet is not always going to be searching for the same solution.

Through the use of split-testing you can see which is more effective in your diet ad. You can see whether the majority of people are looking for a solution in losing pounds, or looking for a solution of feeling better about themselves.

Referrals

It goes without saying that the majority of people you meet will just be customers rather than distributors. When you get a new customer who is enjoying your product, never be shy in asking for referrals. Referrals are going to be the lionshare of your business.

Remember when you get referrals to ask the people that gave you them to tell their friend you will be calling. Otherwise the referral will be only a little better than a lukewarm cold call.

If one customer is giving you several referrals who join in on the business or customer side, offer to the customer to become a distributor to receive product at a lower value. Who knows, getting a little commission check may be just the thing to fire up a customer into a full-distributor machine.

Offering a Prize

An inexpensive prize sometimes will be the winner of the day. Offer some of your cheaper products as door prizes to various events or gathering. This will give you plenty of recognition, it will build inherent desire in the event to want the prize, and it costs you very little to do.

Since this creates a desire in the crowd or in the event, make sure to let everyone know how cheap they can get the product for from you. This is a great advertising tool and builds relationships in your community.

Web 2.0

Though it is a slow-go that can take months to build and can be hard to maintain, it can well be worth the effort to build your Web 2.0 presence. The best part about Web 2.0 is its innate power and influence you can leverage once you build up your presence.

Have a national event that will transform your compensation to a whole new level?

Building a Web 2.0 presence will create followers for you that want to do what you say because you are respected as an authority. It is the perfect time to invite all of these people who have been benefiting from your advice to your national company event.

Also once you have entrenched yourself into Web 2.0 you will be on a whole new learning curve that really is just heating up. Get connected, stay involved, put in the work and you will see some amazing results.

Use these methods and build your MLM on a budget. Remember to keep educating yourself, even if you have to invest some money into doing it. The one thing you invest in may pay itself back in millions.

Purchasing MLM Leads Stories

The Following Story is from Associated Content and brought to you by cheap mlm leads

Upon joining a Multilevel Marketing company, one of the first instructions a new distributor receives is to make a list of 100 people they know – a list of warm leads to contact. For experienced business owners and sales people this requires nothing more than a flip through their mobile phone, or a look through their Outlook address book. For others however, the task of building a list can be challenging. Most network marketers know 100 people, quantity is never an issue, however many of do not know 100 quality people who have the mindset to become a business owner. For many network marketers, even those who are more experience the warm leads run out fairly quick, and the pressure to tap into the cold market (people you don't know) increases. With the invention of social networking sites, in particular Facebook, many network marketers have turned to their “friends list” and group pages to find leads, but to be effective one must be strategic in their approach. Listed below are some tips that will help you generate cold leads and new customers on Facebook.

Define Your Purpose: Every business owner should have a purpose. Each day set out to achieve goals that are realistic. For example, if your MLM is expanding into a new market, search for friends in that area. Decide how many people you want to add, and make contact with those individuals. A simple “Hi, thanks for the friendship” on their wall will start the process.

Know Your Demographic: Start with profession. If your goal is to build your team, add users who are self-employed, or involved in other MLM opportunities. While there's no guarantee that they will join your business, they may become a great referral source. If pushing product, everyone is fair game. While you want to be specific, make no judgments about anyone. The person you overlook may have turn out to be your biggest customer.

Build Your Network: When growing a business, the networking can't be stressed enough. This is the only REAL way that you're going to see growth. Develop habits such as adding friends, posting unique or inspirational status messages, and comment on the posts your friends make. The more you do this, the more relationships you will develop which will in turn expand your network.

Market Yourself: Whenever the opportunity presents itself, which is almost always talk about your product or service. Utilize the Info section to its fullest potential by adding as much information about yourself as possible. Post as many pictures of your products, and company events as you can. Be sure to include captions so people know who and what they're looking at.

Testimonials: Have previous customers write testimonials about you and your business. Ask friends and family to give honest testimonials if they've worked with you on a professional level. The power of third-party validation should not be underestimated in any industry.

If you're new to the MLM industry, stepping out into the cold market can be a scary thing. Utilizing social media to target new customers is a great way to hone your skills when talking to people you may not have previously known. The more you do it, the easier it will become. As you expand your network, over time your business will also grow.

Buying MLM Leads Announcements

This Blog Post is from Associated Content and brought to you by real-time mlm leads

There is a wealth of information available for those who want to work at home as freelance writers. Web searches for freelance writing and work at home opportunities will return tens of thousands of results. So how does a freelance writer looking to create a steady stream of work at home income know where to start or whom to trust?

Online scammers consider those seeking to work at home easy prey. These are people who are obviously looking for an income, and often work at home job seekers have limited options due to experience, personal and family circumstances. When faced with the myriad work at home opportunities presented on the Internet, it is near impossible to determine what websites and offers are legitimate.

There is now sage advice on avoiding the scams, most of which nearly every work at home job seeker has read at least once, usually far more often. The standard warnings are to avoid any offer that costs you money. However, there are exceptions, such as legitimate Multilevel Marketing (MLM) companies and freelance bid sites that cost a nominal fee to join. One could research a given company with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). This is a frequent recommendation and the information is reliable if the BBB has any to give, but Better Business Bureaus only receive and report complaints from consumers that care to lodge them. People who have had bad experiences with a given company and not reported the issue to the BBB are not accounted for. This means a company could be horrendous, but no one ever bothered to lodge a complaint.

Forums and Blogs

So then, what is the answer? The answer is to make the rounds on freelance writer and work at home forums and blogs for the most reliable, first hand information on work at home and freelance writing opportunities. Testimonials provided by work at home and freelance writing websites should be met with some skepticism (after all, how do you know it was written by a real employee?), but testimonials posted freely on freelance writing blogs and work at home forums are far more reliable. These are posts written by fellow human writers whose intentions are to help their fellow freelance writers. Many of these freelance writers, in fact most, have been in positions very similar to that of their target audience and feel good about helping their peers.

This is not to say that there is never financial gain for the freelance writers and bloggers writing these posts. Many freelance writers make money with their blog posts. Others offer their expertise in the hopes of drawing hits to their blogs and websites, a kind of self promotion and marketing tool. This does not make the information bad, it is simply a means to an end.

Further, this is not to say that every forum and/or blog post out there is reliable, unbiased information. These are public forums where freelance writers and work at home job seekers are known to frequent. Certainly there is some abuse by disreputable work at home scammers, and certainly there are individuals with bad experiences that will ‘talk down‘ a reputable work at home or freelance opportunity. However, the nature of the information given freely on blogs and forums can be checked repeatedly against that that is offered on other work at home and freelance writing forums and blogs. The more a novice freelance writer reads, patterns will emerge that will point a writer towards the freelance writing markets that are reliable and do in fact pay their writers. If a work at home job seeker questions the information they have read, it is easy enough for the person to refer to another freelance writing blog or work at home forum and find out what others are saying.

Case In Point

Using myself as an example, I’ll present an informal case study.

I searched online work at home opportunities for a year. My time was spent on web searches that turned up many opportunities, but it was nearly impossible for me to trust any of them based on the information provided by the various work at home companies. Many sites wanted to sell a company or business opportunity that could be run from home and required an initial investment. Investing in these companies was not something I was going to do on their word, and I wasn’t looking to run a business per se, I wanted to work at home. The two are entirely different things. Still, I persisted in my quest, sure that some of these opportunities must be real, and realizing that with four kids under six years old, working outside the home would not be financially or personally practical for a very long time.

One of the first work at home websites I consulted was BizyMoms.com. At the time, BizyMoms was largely geared toward mothers building a business from home. I wanted more immediate financial results. Eventually, BizyMoms brought on a host whose specialty was working from home. Through this host and by reading advice from other hosts and users on the BizyMoms forums I learned about freelance writing opportunities that even unestablished, novice freelance writers could participate in and get paid. Through Joan Vasquez at www.BizyMoms.com, I found links to writingup.com (a paid blog site), www.constant-content.com/, and Associated Content.

With nothing to lose financially on these sites, and only potential gain, I joined each of these sites and started my freelance writing career. As I spent more time on these sites, I was able to read the opinions, good, bad and otherwise, of those using the sites, and was able to form my own opinions and proceed with advice from seasoned veterans of the work at home and freelance writing career fields.

Eventually, I chose a few blogs and forums I grew to trust and frequent. Among them were Gracepub and Sharon Hurley Hall on writingup.com. Both of these women are successful work at home freelance writers, and offer invaluable advice for novice freelance writers on such topics as work at home, freelance writing, self promotion, getting paid to blog, and much more. What’s even better is that Gracepub and Sharon Hurley Hall share their pitfalls as well, fostering confidence in new freelance writers from those who have ‘been there’ and succeed after it all.

Another blog I frequent as a budding work at home freelance writer is Deborah Ng’s blog at writers row.com, ’Freelance Writing Jobs’; Deborah daily surfs the net for work at home freelance writing job postings and lists a multitude of opportunities for freelance writers on her blog. She was recently voted number two in the ‘Top 10 Blogs for Writers-2006‘ at Michael Stelzner‘s ‘Writing White Papers’ site.

Once I started writing at AssociatedContent and Constant-Content, I joined the forums at these sites. The information from fellow freelance writers on these forums is equally valuable. There is a great range of information there, notably learning about other freelance writing opportunities and how to better use the respective websites among the best.

Since joining the three aforementioned sites, I have found a good amount of success. I’m not stopping there, though, and I’m not about to stop reading the blogs and forums I’ve found to be most reliable and most helpful. Gracepub, Sharon Hurley Hall, and many, many generous souls on the forums have much valuable information that I continue to rely on and reference as I look to grow my freelance writing into a reliable source of family income-in fact, a career. When I need to know where else to look for work, how to establish my freelance writing career, and what websites are legitimate and will pay a novice work at home mother like me, I return to my forum and blog friends for advice. It’s information I couldn’t have found reliably anywhere else.

Leads for MLM Business Announcements

The Following Story is brought to you by buy mlm leads

Do you think you could promote your network opportunity easier if you just knew how? Using the tips in below we will give ideas on how you can promote your business offline and not just on the internet.

As a network marketer, you know how important getting traffic to your website is. It is the number one reason for failure in this business.

There is an often over-looked area of marketing that is ignored by many in network marketing. This area is offline marketing. While the Internet is a source used by many, there are also thousands of prospects that can be presented with your MLM business opportunity through offline sources.

Here are five offline strategies that you can use to expand your network marketing prospect, and, in turn, explode your business.

1. Get a small ziplock baggie and put these items in it.

- A flyer describing your business. You can create this online.
- Your business card. If you do not have one get some free at VistaPrint.com
- A monthly special. If you do not have one create one.
- A coupon offering something for free or for a percentage off.

Give out the baggies at your kids sporting events on the weekend. Give them to tellers at the bank, cashiers at the grocery store. Get in the habit of promoting your business anywhere you are at! This is a quick and easy way to let people know about your business.

2. Contact local bridal gown stores, bridal supply stores, tux rental centers, caterers, and wedding DJ's. Ask if you can leave a business card with them as well as a flyer for their customers to have.

3. Print flyers with your contact information. Be sure ans include your email address and website address. Include any monthly specials you are offering. Then hand them out at apartment complexes or mobile home parks.
You could map a neighborhood and start putting the flyers on doors.

4. Daycare centers are a great place to find prospects for your business! Leave a business card or flyer with them. Not all moms and dads who have to drop off their kids and go to work want to do that everyday.

5. Connect with your local Chamber of Commerce. Many times they have local business events that you could involve your business in. The same with welcome wagon. This is a great way to meet people as they move into a neighborhood.

As you can see, this is just a small list of endless strategies that you can use to market your business offline as well as build a great MLM prospect list. Try one or more of these strategies to start off with, and watch your network marketing business explode!

Purchasing MLM Leads Information

The Following Story is from Associated Content and brought to you by mlm leads

Nothing can beat the business or opportunity that MLM home business can give. Even if a complex system achieved great results for you, others will find it difficult to copy. In networking MLM, personal success is not your greatest asset.

Self-starters are the type of people who do not just sit around thinking about something over and over again. Yet no action is taken to get things done. They decide on what needs to be done and simply do it. It does not take a rocket scientist to make a network work. There are also no magic bullets, books, software, devices, meetings, and tapes that can make it any harder or easier.

Then you would develop and design your site. In the end you would have a website that you have developed yourself.
Many years ago, just the thought of MLM affiliate programs, franchises and home businesses are enough to scare people off. Go for the same phenomenal results. This is quality duplication. Each person in your MLM networking, from top to bottom, must be able to exactly duplicate what you are doing and be able to teach others to do exactly the same thing. How large a sales team you can build depends on how well it is duplicated.

your motivation for starting your MLM business could be to earn $500 or $1,000 per month or $10,000 or $20,000 per month. Or it could be that you want to home school your kids, and that requires earning an income working from home. In building a successful and long-term network, the MLM networking system must rule. Remember a system is only as good as it is duplicated.

The more complex a system, the less likely quality duplication will be achieved. To make sure you duplicate well, follow the System you are provided with religiously. There is no perfect system and your time is better spent perfecting your ability to duplicate it rather than perfecting a system.

Keeping it simple. To ensure you do things that your distributor can learn from and duplicate. Is what I am doing easily duplicable? Is it simple enough to be duplicated? Keep asking yourself this same questions and if you answer “yes” at least 75 % of the time, you are on the right track.

The self-disciplined individual is one who does not need someone standing over. Or having someone tells them what, how and when to do. They do not need anyone telling to get something done. They are able to determine what needs to be done, then set aside time to do it.

An MLM business may fail, many do first time around. But the self-disciplined individual does not accept that they are a failure. They simply learn from the mistakes and use them as a tool to attain success.

Purchasing MLM Leads Announcements

Thanks to buy mlm leads for bringing the following blog post

There are a many opinions about how to build your downline. I am going to tell you the differences, pros, and cons about recruiting from Genealogy Lists, your Warm Market, and your Cold Market. I have personally used all three methods to recruit. Let's start with Warm Market recruiting because it is probably the oldest and original way to recruit.

Warm market recruiting is the usual method a company will tell you to recruit. This entails creating a list of 100 or more friends, family, and acquaintances. Then, you “expose” them using a DVD or “sizzle call.” And lastly you invite them to a home meeting presentation. This method is a lot more efficient than calling MLM leads because you might recruit 2-5 of your 100 people, rather than 1 out of 100. Also, you might be able to make money with friends that you know and like. For people that have great rapport with friends and family, there may be no fear of rejection in talking to them.

The downside to this method is that you might know a lot of people that are negative, will discourage you, and that aren't reliable. This heavy rejection and negativity, or even the fear of it, kills a lot of new people. Also, if you don't know how to work through the warm market of your own warm market or get referrals, you will quickly run out of prospects. I find that this method can cost a lot more money as well. That is if you are buying all the dvd's, flip charts, 800 numbers, and other things to expose prospects. Also, if you are meeting with them one on one, it takes a lot of time. Expect a lot of prospects to give you excuses and beat around the bush about how they just were so busy and couldn't get to your call.

Another method is Cold Market recruiting or the “3 foot rule.” By this, I mean going to a mall or talking to people when you're out at the gas station, and things like that. Anyone that comes within three feet of you, you should build instantaneous rapport and prospect them. The good thing about this method, is that you won't ever run out of prospects. In addition, some people might fear rejection from strangers less than rejection from family and friends.

The problems with this method are that you have no real rapport or reputation with these prospects. They aren't like people from MLM/NWM genealogy lists in that you've both been in the industry before and they aren't a friend or family member. They have no reason to believe or trust you. Even if they do, they might think that if they get involved with your “own company” that you “own,” that they will have to pass out magazines and give out DVD's at the mall and coffee shop. This scares a lot of people of as well. This was one of the main methods my upline in the first company I was in used. It almost killed me, I felt like I was making fake conversations. I also think it seems somewhat unprofessional. People in our day and age don't like door to door preachers or salesmen.

Genealogy lists are lists of current or past MLMer's involved in a company, training program, or other MLM group. Tracy Biller was the first to really train others formally on this method. The reason some that recruiting from genealogy lists is the best way to build your downline is because people are already sold on the concept of MLM/Network Marketing. If they are discontent with their current or previous company, they might be interested in joining your company. The good thing about this method is that you don't always have to worry about people being skeptical of MLM and being asked, “Is that one of those pyramid things?” They have already been involved at least once. Also, usually most people are either very open to looking at your opportunity because they know about what network marketing is and are usually interested in a new possibly better company, or they are sick of MLM, but won't drag you around like some friends or family members that are afraid to say “no.” Another good thing is that you can really work from home by just calling people on the phone, giving them a pre-recorded number or website to check out, and doing a 3-way call or closing them. Also, if you teach the method to your downline, they can recruit as fast as you. Furthermore, there's less emotion in response to rejection from these prospects because you don't know them and they can't see you. If they give you a “no,” its not like your best friend saying “no,” and telling you that you're an idiot for getting into some pyramid thingy, or that mall worker not knowing what to say and wishing you would move along so they could check the rest of the people behind you in line out. And as far as costs go, they are fairly cheap.

The downside is that it is basically cold-calling, so you have to make a connection with the people, otherwise, they will hang up on you like they will a telemarketer. Also, network marketers can be leaders, followers, or sleepers(people that got signed up and never did anything). Now, that is not to say that followers are all bad, and sleepers might “awaken,” or that none of the people on the lists are leaders. But just because people are already sold on the concept of MLM/NWM, it doesn't mean they are talented at MLM/NWM at it or had previous success in it. Also, its not that efficient. It might take 100-200 dials to recruit 1 person. And hearing “the number you've dialed has been disconnected” repeatedly can get obnoxious.

Personally, I like to recruit some from Genealogy Lists, and from SOME of my warm market. They say not to prejudge, but I usually just ask the business minded or successful/leader people that I know. I don't believe in making all of my family and friends avoid me because, well, they NEED my business and just don't know it yet . I like the genealogy lists because it only takes 1-2 hours to make 100-150 calls. 5 days a week of calling can enroll some people quickly and in large numbers. Do the math. I don't really do the 3-foot rule because as previously stated. In American culture today, people are stand offish to strangers that they feel are trying to “sell” them on anything.

Do you know and understand the needs and motives of women in network marketing or MLM? Is network marketing for women? Are there special considerations when talking to and working with women personally and in business? Do women really communicate that differently than men? Today I read on the Direct Selling Women Alliance web site that there are 14 million people in direct selling in the United States and over 55 million worldwide doing an estimated 97 billion dollars in sales. 79.9% of all direct sellers are women. It seems to me with statistics like that, these are questions one should seriously consider.

I personally have found that often times working with women in my organizations, they are more communicative, more open to share their goals and motives. I have been told on several occasions that they hope this business is a way they can show what they are capable of. I guess I can identify with that, because I feel like this business is a great way for me to show some of my untapped potential. Again on DSWA it says woman see direct sales as a unique and empowering profession. I think the bottom line is that if you are in tune with or at least open to women's ideas, thoughts and needs, you are going to be much more successful in providing your organization what they need.

I read an article more than 10 years ago about women in politics. In this article, it said that women in Washington were usually making more progress in furthering their goals and agendas then male politicians. It made reference to these women politicians being less dogmatic and more flexible: saying that they were more open to the process of give and take when trying to advance their agendas. It made reference to their ability to reach out to their opponents asking for a more collaborative solution. You want this, I am trying to accomplish this, so what can we do to help both of us get what we want. Or, what areas do we agree on to so we can get something done.

I have never been involved in politics in Washington, but for some reason that article really stood out to me. I have made an effort to be and describe myself as a collaborative thinker. Trying to open people up to the idea that they don't have to know everything or be good at everything, but if we work together, we can draw on each other's strengths and weaknesses. In my experience, this takes some of the pressure off and frees people up to talk more freely, brining fresh ideas to the table. I can't see how this could be anything but good. Although, I have had some people interpret this as a weakness or think that I don't really understand something because I am asking questions about it. But sooner or later, I usually have an opportunity to share my collaborative process and then people are more open to my questions and thoroughness. And almost always the results speak for themselves.

I would love to hear from women in Network Marketing and MLM about their individual experiences and challenges building their businesses. Help me make my website better and more useful for you. Contact me and give me your thoughts and ideas.

Starting a home based business is the dream of many; the problem is 95% fail. If you want to make money on the internet, you need to know how! Most marketers, 95% of them, lack the skills and training required to make serious money from home on the internet.

Right now, someone starts a new home business every 11 seconds. Here are the stats; they say there are over 800 Million people on the internet right now and over 300 Million of them would like to start a home based business. Most are not making a living with a 9-5 job. They hate their boss, hate their J.O.B., hate their commute and are deeply in financial debt. The problem is those 300 Million opportunity seekers most are all FAILING at making a real income from home. Actually, not all are failing, only 95% to 97% are. This is the harsh REALITY!

Most Direct Sales, Affiliate and MLM programs provide fantastic Product, Motivational and Sales training and most programs provide a fancy website that entices their prospects to buy or join. The problem is most home business the lack of training for their distributors, specifically internet marketing and lead generation.

Ninety-five percent of the companies promote buying worthless expensive leads, expensive advertising packages and speaking with friends and relatives. Most distributors simply will not do this and can not afford to do this. The average distributor has no sales, marketing or better yet internet marketing experience. Time is another contributing factor. Most start their business with an amateur, who has no experience but is, expected to mentor them distributors. Finally one of the biggest factors for failure is that most distributors have “More money going out than coming in”.

Who Do You Trust? Can you afford to work with an amateur? Do you have the money to buy expensive leads and advertising? Do you like Selling?

The Solution; Automated Lead Generation, Marketing and Training: Automation and proper “Internet Marketing” training is the key to the Entrepreneurs dream. Without prospects or massive traffic to your website your business is dead. One must learn to drive traffic to their website to be successful. The one who gets their website in front of targeted prospects is the one that wins. Without the website traffic your business will never take off. Most people do not realize that running a home based internet business is difficult. The internet is highly saturated with all kinds of information and other people that are trying to make it, which is why it became so difficult to drive highly targeted traffic to your website. There are several systems out there that generate highly qualifying leads for home based business people. Imagine having 20 lead capture pages that generate leads for your business 24/7 and a marketing system that blast your MLM and biz-op ads out to millions daily! With serious automated systems you will be able to break through all the competition, automate your business and put your website in front of thousands of prospects that are willing to buy your product or service and allow you to create a serious income.

Lead generation is and can be one of the most costly expenditures and difficult activities in any business. You must be able to connect with your visitors or prospects and make them contact you about your product, service or opportunity.

Automated Closing Process is the Key: One of the main reasons why people fail is because they lack the necessary skills to close the sale. Let's be straight, 99% of people hate sales and/or don't know how to sale and close the deal. This is the reason why many people get discouraged and simply quit their business. One of the newest “Mega Trends” is automated home business systems that have professional closers that handle all the sales calls and close the deals for the distributors. Basically with these systems a distributor just has to market the system or their website and the closing team handles the “Telling & Selling”. These types of systems eliminate sales and rejection of fear, not to mention the time element; it's like having your own professional sales team. With these types of systems the distributors don't even speak to prospects. Prospects visit the website, complete a “Call Back Request” form and the team leaders call the prospects back for the distributors. You have your own team of professionals that will close the sales for you! These automated systems drive massive web traffic, generates targeted qualified BizOp and MLM leads, and close sales, allowing those with little or no sales and marketing skills to succeed with making money on the internet without spending hours on the phone selling.

When searching for a automated system search for keywords such as “Digital Marketing Systems”, “Automated Lead Generation”, “MLM Lead Generation”, “Automated Marketing”, “Automated Home Business” or “We Close the Deals For You”.

This is an age old question, but one that is still very present with a huge chunk of network marketing home business owners.

It's not that there is a lack of leads or a lack of opportunity seekers out there; it's the fact that there are now so many so-called lead generation companies and even individuals marketing to the industry that it's almost impossible to know who to trust and who has the best leads with the best price with the highest quality.

Well, let me save you a bunch of time, money, and effort and explain what is actually one of the BEST ways to get high quality leads from a trusted source:

It's to generate your own leads!

To some of you that may be very obvious, but to many people that thought has never crossed their mind.

Now, I'm NOT talking about getting 'leads' by making cold calls, using the 3 foot rule, going through your warm market, collecting business cards, or talking to someone at the store and getting their number.

I'm talking about ATTRACTING people to you using effective marketing principles.

If I may, let me share with you my opinion on the quality of leads that are out there using 3 stages:

Stage 1 Leads: These are so-called leads you may generate by using old school mlm prospecting techniques as described above. Which I refer to as 'Interruption Marketing'. This basically says that what you have to say seems so important that you must track people down and vomit your pitch on them and hope that they receive your message with joyful delight. I know, that's sounds terrible, but it is what it is. I myself have been there, done that and speak from experience, so I can laugh about it now.

So, Stage 1 leads are typically the lowest on the scale, and do not help your reputation as a true business professional either. You don't see regular business owners out beating the streets for prospects do you? There's no need to when you get educated on EFFECTIVE marketing.

Sure, you can get people involved by using these methods, but why put yourself and most of your prospects through these degrading and rather ineffective tactics?

Stage 2 Leads: These are the most popular form of leads, which are generated by lead generation companies or lead brokers. This category contains multiple varieties of leads such as opportunity seekers, home business leads, mlm leads, etc. that can have different degrees of type: phone interviewed, phone verified, surveyed, exclusive, infomercial, radio response, non-exclusive, email, opt-in, direct mail, long form, short form, etc.

Now, some of the highest response rates I have personally seen from this category are the fully phone interviewed and surveyed leads combined as one type of lead. To say the least, there are varying degrees of response rates among these leads and the people who purchase them, as well as their skill level in working with these leads.

That being said, Stage 2 Leads are a step up from Stage 1 Leads and I know people who have built big businesses just by working purchased leads. This is also a step up because it allows you to be a true HOME-BASED business owner. Meaning that you can actually work out of your home in your shorts and talk on the phone and build a great business without driving around town trying to find people to bump into or meeting someone at Starbucks or doing presentations at someone's house!

The main challenge with these leads is finding a reliable source of good quality leads for a good price, and hoping you have the time and the skills to make the calls necessary to convert the amount of people you need to actually turn a decent profit. In fact, many people who buy purchased leads never even make more than what they spent on the leads themselves. It can create a vicious cycle similar to slot machines and gambling: 'Maybe if I buy one more set of leads, then I'll get some good ones this time and hot the jackpot.' It doesn't work that way.

Stage 3 Leads: These are my favorite! These are leads that you generate yourself by using highly effective marketing techniques that ATTRACT YOUR TARGET MARKET to you 24/7 on autopilot with or without your presence. As in the other 2 stages, there are varying degrees of these leads and how you can generate them.

My personal favorite are leads you generate yourself using FREE niche avenues of online marketing, where you actually GET PAID for each lead you generate AND each lead has been qualified by making an educational infomation product purchase BEFORE you ever speak with them!

So, you get paid (instead of paying for) a lead that has actually invested a few bucks into their education of this industry and is actively looking for something (as opposed to just kicking tires), and has been drawn to and completed this entire process while you were out playing golf, or hanging out with your kids at the park, or working your day job, etc.

This way you can actually spend more time with serious prospects (who you are getting paid to talk to) instead of wasting time trying to find or convince suspects. This will also free up a huge chunk of time for you and allow you to spend you time doing what gets you RESULTS.

Which stage of leads sounds better to you?

The good news is, that it's just about proper education and then simple implementation of a predictable plan that can allow you to start doing business this way. It's easier than you think.

Personally, I will never go back to the old hard ways of building and prospecting. There's no point!

So, get the correct education and develop your own gameplan for success in lead generation!
