Great product, excellent shipping, a little bit troublesome with power plugs (I received European version, so had to get adapters to plug into the US plugs), but product as product- great! Great sound quality, automatically connects to Skype (transfers contacts, calls, etc). Works like regular phone but with Skype contacts and features.
[didn't use it as a landline phone- didn't buy it for that. don't have landline anyway; mobile + Skype phone is all you need nowadays]. Recommend.

It worked for a few months, then started to say system unavalibe all the time, if you reset the system it works for about a day before saying this again, freezes up when checking voice mail or trying to call people randomly, no more updates on firmware so please do not buy this as a warning; THEY HAVE DROPED SUPPORT FOR THIS PRODUCT. I have an IT degree and have messed with this item for a while beliving that tweeking it would help, but sometimes things just do not work. Skype is a good service, dont screw it up buy purchasing this phone.

I should have paid more attention to the dates of these reviews BEFORE purchasing this phone – all the good ratings and reviews are mostly from 2006 and 2007. This phone is no longer supported by Linksys or the latest version of Yahoo Messenger.
I even removed Yahoo Messenger from my computer and installed version 8 that comes with the disc, but Yahoo forces you to upgrade. You constantly receive a run time error that forces the program to quit and it simply does not work. Very disappointing! I am returning this to Amazon – this item shouldn’t even be allowed to be sold on Amazon since it doesn’t work and is NOT compatible with Yahoo.
